   The modifications that were implemented on Management Module version 1.01
   are listed below:

   - Fixed the bug on device label retrieval.
   - Keep the dialog box open when setting the Threshold table.
   - Fixed the bug on wrong Last Source Address retrieval from the Security
     dialog box.
   - Fixed the bug on wrong Unit number display when opening two Unit
     Statistics dialog boxes.

Congratulations on your purchase of the DE-1600 device.  This device gives you
the option to either use D-View or the Device Configuration Program (DCP) for
its management.

1. Management using D-View

   Management using D-View can be achieved by first installing the DE-1600
   management module into D-View.  The management module can be found in the
   DVIEW subdirectory of the installation diskette that comes with the device package.
   Before installing the management module, take note of the following:

   a.  Ensure that D-View 3.x is installed into your PC.

   b.  Ensure to make a backup copy of the installation diskette for safety
      reasons.  Use the backup copy for installation.

   To install the management module, go to the DVIEW subdirectory and then
   type:

   > WIN INSTALL

2. Device Configuration Program (DCP)

   In the DCP subdirectory of the installation diskette is the Device Configuration
   Program (DCP).  This program can also be used to perform general
   management functions on the device.  To manage the device using DCP,
   go to the DCP subdirectory and then type:

   > DCP

   For advanced management functions, please use the D-View program.
